SRIPARNA GHOSH

Economist

Sriparna Ghosh is an Associate of Economics at the University of Cincinnati (UC), Blue Ash and also a Research Affiliate at the Knee Center for Studies of Occupational Licensing Regulation. She received her PhD in Economics from West Virginia University in 2017.
As a trained applied microeconomist, she focuses on health and labor economics in her research, more specifically, she focuses on understanding access and barriers within labor markets and health outcomes of underserved communities.
Currently, she is leading a project for making a novel comprehensive dataset for Certificate Of Need (CON) Laws. She also explores the effect of community based welfare programs and socio-economic determinants of health on health disparities. She was recently awarded a new investigator research grant by the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center to support her research on disparities on breast cancer survival.
